A few places are still available for FIONA’s Summer School 2026, taking place August 4th to August 6th 2026 in Aachen. The three-day, hands-on training introduces research data management (RDM) in the engineering sciences through a practical engineering experiment. Participants will learn how to document experiments, manage metadata, analyse data with Jupyter Notebooks, and publish FAIR research data using NFDI4ING services and best practices.
The summer school is aimed at PhD candidates, researchers, and research support staff who want to strengthen their RDM skills and integrate FAIR data management into their daily research workflows.
