Detailed description of the service 

Service’s Capabilities:
Two frontends are implemented to demonstrate the MetadataHub service. The MetadataHub enables easy access to multiple repositories via a uniform interface. Metadata documents can be created, updated, read, deleted, listed and searched for. Currently AIMS, Coscine and MetaStore are supported via their REST interfaces.
The MetadataHub service implements the Turntable API which defines a uniform interface to metadata repositories. Therefore, the MetadataHub can serve as a façade for (multiple) (metadata) repositories. To add new repositories via REST, a mapping for the specific repository must be defined and made available to the MetadataHub service.<image Image_MetadataHub.png>

To ingest data the researchers still have to know the (administrative) metadata structure they have to provide.
