Lunch Bites 2026: Integration of an Electronic Laboratory Notebook and a Data Management Tool to Support Research Data Management in Bioprocess Engineering
by Laura Barth (RWTH Aachen University)
The electronic laboratory notebook eLabFTW and a Data Management Tool (DMT) developed at the Chair of Bioprocess Engineering are being integrated into a unified research data management infrastructure that automatically combines experimental metadata with process data. By bringing together documentation, data integration, visualisation, and analysis within a single platform, the solution provides direct benefits for researchers while promoting the adoption of research data management. Planned integration with Coscine will further support the FAIR-compliant storage and reuse of research data.
Program
