🔹 What to expect?

In this workshop, you will learn how to structure, document, and publish your research data effectively. We will introduce key research data management (RDM) concepts and explore tools and services available at different HPC centers. The session will help improve data organization, collaboration, and long-term usability, supporting both internal research workflows and external partnerships.

  • Access, hardware systems, data backup, storage, and publication at different HPC centers
  • Research data management tools & services: metadata standards, cloud systems, repositories, data transfer, containerization, FAIR HPC data, B2SHARE, InHPC-DE, etc.
  • Basics of research data management: FAIR principles, metadata, repositories, identifiers, and licenses
  • Insights from NHR Alliance and NFDI4Ing consortium

🎤 Invited representatives from:

  • Chair of Aerodynamics and Fluid Mechanics, Munich Data Science Institute (TUM)
  • High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS) (tbc)
  • Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC)
  • Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ)
  • National High Performance Computing Alliance (NHR)
  • University of Göttingen / Gesellschaft für wissenschaftliche Datenverarbeitung (GWDG)
