The NFDI4ING conference will take place as an in-person event in 2025 for the first time since 2019. The detailed planning of the conference is still ongoing, but we would like to communicate some key points now to make the conference attractive to you and to encourage you to keep the date free.
Target group and content:
The conference is aimed at researchers and employees of the NFDI consortia who have close links to the engineering sciences (i.e. are active in DFG subject areas 41-45). The format of the conference is designed to deepen the cross-consortia dialogue and to jointly discuss solutions in key topics, e.g. data literacy in the engineering curriculum, FAIR applications in industry or federated infrastructures for FAIR digital objects, data products and knowledge graphs. The aim is to exchange ideas on joint use cases, find new interfaces and further strengthen existing connections between the consortia. Guests from Germany and abroad as well as industry representatives will be included in the dialogue.
Organisation and procedure:
The event will take place in a ‘lunch-to-lunch’ format with a small evening event on 15 September. Conference participation is free of charge. Registration is not yet possible. We will be happy to inform you as soon as the registration page is activated and more information on the agenda is available.
