NFDI4Ing and NFDI4Chem strengthen their cooperation

NFDI4ING and NFDI4Energy strengthen their long-standing partnership with a joint MoU to advance research data management for engineering and energy sciences.

NFDI4ING and NFDI4Energy have officially published a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking an important milestone in the long-standing collaboration between the two consortia.

Both initiatives are committed to advancing research data management for engineering and energy-related sciences, approaching the community from complementary perspectives. While NFDI4ING contributes its strong methodological expertise in engineering research data management, NFDI4Energy focuses on the domain-specific needs and content of energy research. Together, the consortia aim to provide more comprehensive support for researchers working at the intersection of engineering and energy sciences.

The newly signed MoU formalizes and strengthens this established partnership. It outlines concrete areas for intensified collaboration and highlights the shared commitment to building sustainable, interoperable, and community-oriented research data infrastructures within the NFDI landscape.
