FAIR DO – JAX-Fluids Dataset

A new CFD dataset illustrates how FAIR digital objects are used in NFDI4ING to provide documented simulations, configs, logs, and metadata in a neat, re-useable package.

If you ever wondered how a FAIR digital object in engineering could look like, check out the newly released JAX-Fluids dataset “Flow Over a Cylinder (Re = 10–800)”.

The dataset provides fully documented CFD simulations, configs, logs, and rich metadata – a reusable benchmark for validating solvers, teaching fluid dynamics, and showcasing best-practice research data management.
