NFDI4Ing will soon launch a survey on the topic of research data management (RDM) in the engineering sciences. One of the goals of the survey is to tailor the consortium's services precisely to the needs of engineers. In order to obtain a detailed picture of the state of RDM in the heterogeneous engineering disciplines, we hope for numerous participants from all disciplines.
The first online survey conducted by NFDI4Ing consortium in 2019 gained a lot of support from the community. At that time, a total of 701 questionnaires were answered, 618 of which were completed. We would like to build on the success of 2019 with this year’s survey and hope for your support. With the planned online survey, we are pursuing several goals. Primarily, we would like to obtain a detailed picture of the status quo of research data management in the various engineering communities. At the same time, we would like to use the opportunity to learn more about your needs and requirements with regard to services related to RDM, and use that information to adjust the NFDI4Ing services accordingly. Recurring surveys help us to evaluate and question ourselves in order to be able to offer targeted support in dealing with your research data. We will share a link to the questionnaire in the near future and are counting on your participation!

NFDI4Ing startet in Kürze eine Community Umfrage zum Thema Forschungsdatenmanagement (FDM) in den Ingenieurwissenschaften. Ziel der Umfrage ist es unter anderem die Services des Konsortiums passgenau auf die Bedarfe der Ingenieurinnen und Ingenieure auszurichten. Um ein möglichst facettenreiches Bild des FDM-Standes in den einzelnen Ingenieursdisziplinen zu erhalten, hoffen wir auf zahlreiche Beteiligung aller Fachdisziplinen.
Die erste Online-Umfrage des NFDI4Ing Konsortium des Jahres 2019 hat bei Ihnen sehr große Unterstützung gefunden. Damals wurden insgesamt 701 Fragebögen ausgefüllt, davon 618 vollständig. Gern würden wir mit der diesjährigen Umfrage an den Erfolg von 2019 anknüpfen und hoffen dafür auf Ihre Unterstützung. Mit der Online-Umfrage verfolgen wir mehrere Ziele.
