NFDI4Ing regularly hosts community meetings, workshops and other public events. We invite you to join the discussions, and share your challenges, views and insights. You can find a calendar with recent and upcoming events here.

We can assist with all processes surrounding the management, publication and sustainable sharing of your research data. We can advise on how to plan out your data management and how to evaluate the FAIRness of your data. For us, this provides insights into common pit-falls and requirements, and may allows us the better address the needs of the engineering community.

NFDI4Ing is build to be open and adaptable. There are multiple ways to become a participant, most notably our seed fund programme. In general, the first step towards a more formal contribution is to take a look at the project proposal and identify the (task) areas that best align with your interests, goals and expertise. The next step is to contact the respective task area leads. Together, you will discuss how your possible involvement may look like. Eventually, you will draft a formal letter of commitment that will be submitted to the DFG.
